Job Summary
The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is currently recruiting a Part-time Basketball Clinic/Camp Instructor. The position will run basketball clinics for ages 9-12. Successful candidates must be physically able to be on their feet for extended periods of time and teach players of all skill levels.
Applicants must have:
- knowledge of basketball skills, rules, and strategies;
- good oral communication skills are essential;
- ability to teach children ages 9-12 both fundamental and advanced basketball skills;
- knowledge of first aid, CPR, and safety procedures;
- a minimum of 2 years of coaching or comparable experience is required.
Salary: $17 to $25 per hour; commensurate with experience
Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 10 – July 20, 2023
Hours: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Minimum Age: 20 years old, by July 1, 2023
Regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.
