Job Description
This role is remote and can sit anywhere in the United States
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead for Data Domain across FBIN (Product, Customer, or Vendor).
- Drive alignment across stakeholders on enterprise product master data models and definitions as it relates to Consumer Facing, Managerial, and financial reporting requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert for Data Domain Master Data usage, standards, and integration.
- Responsible for all aspects of the domains data maintenance and governance processes to support downstream usage and reporting of the data.
- Design and develop training programs to educate data producers and consumers on new data management processes across the data lifecycle.
- Recommend KPIs and develop reports to monitor adoption of and adherence to data management standards.
- Share regular updates with senior-level stakeholders and large-scale audiences regarding proposed solutions, timelines, progress, and issues.
- Provides communication channel between leadership, data stewards, and SME groups.
- Work in a highly collaborative mode with cross-functional business departments and other Data Domain Master Data owners and consumers.
- Perform data profiling to identify opportunities to improve data quality.
- Provide support in any master data related projects and initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, and prompt response time to any inquiries related to master data.
- Coordinate with internal and third-party data organizations to facilitate data management.
- Develop detailed knowledge of data, data flows, and processes.
- Focuses on both strategic and tactical achievement of desired business results regarding domain data.
- Ensure data owners maintain data standards and provide training through role changes.
- Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance and analytics.
- Understanding of MDM concepts, benefits, best practices & challenges; experience with Data Catalog and Master Data Management software solutions (e.g., Talend, Informatica, etc.).
- Experience interacting with the commercialization process.
- Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and interacting with all levels of the corporation.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to persevere to reach objectives for challenging problems.
- Knowledge of relevant data privacy and security regulations.
