Job duties:
- The TANF Quality Control Coordinator I analyzes and evaluates eligibility determinations and case processing actions to determine compliance with Family Independence regulations and state policy. Ensures that work eligibility information in the agency’s participation and tracking system is accurate.
- Reviews samples of family independence cases each month to determine if work participation and other information are accurately documented and coded. Determines if data pertaining to the case is accurately coded into the agency’s automated systems. Forwards accurate and verified information to Federal staff as required by TANF regulations.
- Provides direction and guidance to county supervisory staff concerning program issues for corrective action purposes.
- Monitors and ensures that the work eligibility information in the agency’s participation and tracking system is accurate.
- Processes the required number of TANF reviews using the paperless process, accurately and timely in order to meet federal requirements.
- Provides guidance to counties for clarification of errors and concerns found in case reviews.
- Conducts special projects at the request of managers; provides training to other areas on the use of the agency’s participation and tracking system.
- Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Agency Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of professional experience in social service programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management or relevant program experience.
A Master’s Degree and one (1) year of professional experience in social service programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.
