Roles & Responsibilities To qualify for the role you must have

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Economics or Industrial Engineering and approximately three years of related work experience or a graduate degree in the same and approximately two years of related work experience.

A minimum of three years’ experience providing consulting services with a strategic focus in helping clients achieve transformational value by improving performance through the use of data and analytics solutions.

A deep understanding of business processes and a minimum of three years’ experience using data and analytics to solve real-world business problems.

Description:
• Build and maintain the technology platform architecture for both on premise and AWS cloud based solution
• Be part of cross-functional effort to Design and development of the next generation of data platform for Demand Planning forecasting and Supply chain Management.
• Performing requirements engineering translate complex functional and business requirements into technical requirements solutions and design.
• Partner with engineers and business stakeholders from various teams to build data insights and help them to achieve their business goals.
• Have a broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware software systems and solutions development and a across more than one technical domain.
• Demonstrate experience in real world IT or other solutions environments including creating (on your own or with a team) a product or IT solution in Big Data/Analytics primarily using Cloudera distribution.
• Strong communication skills including representing Cognizant in industry standards organizations or industry technical forums or events in Cloud Security.
• Strong technical team leadership mentorship and collaboration.
• Proficiency with databases data warehouse data management and SQL expertise
• Experience building high-quality end-to-end data solutions in an agile environment from requirements through production. Complex Even processing – KafkaPulsar Spark Streaming
• Batch Processing – Hive, Impala, Kudu, Spark
• Proficiency in Solution Architecture and expertise in big data processing (ETL) technologies with at least 3 years is required.
• Experience in high level programming languages using Scala and Java is mandatory.
• Python is an added advantage and is not mandatory.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000 – $117,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
