Job Summary
This position supports Electric, Gas and Transmission divisions for the billing and collection of specific infrastructure relocation project costs utilizing SAP, Access and Excel software systems. Provides detailed analysis of project costs and support for cost determination to engineers and both internal and external customers. This includes working with internal process owners in order to present accurate and meaningful technical cost determination support for invoicing State Agency and other third party customers.
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical and financial expertise and support to PSE&G process owners/engineers relative to Third Party Billing, which includes the billing, collections and reconciliations of recoverable project costs. Create and maintain reports and analytics to monitor costs and payments against contractual agreements, document the need for project Change Orders. Has to be able to work in conjunction with associates in the divisions and interface with distribution project managers, engineers, and technicians to understand the individual project components and status. Resolve problems as they arise and function as a liaison between Third Party Billing and internal/external organizations. Record and maintain all relevant financial data in our Access database. Assess potential value of database enhancements for improved prioritization according to business needs.
Job Specific Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- BS degree plus 3 years’ relevant experience or, in lieu of a degree, 7 years equivalent relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and FI and CO module in SAP
- Possess strong organization and customer relationship skills; ability to build and maintain effective partnerships within and across the organization
- Possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills as well as strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external associates
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record record.
- Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity. Must demonstrate and value differences in others’ strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
- Familiarity with existing technology offerings, including SAP, Access database, Microsoft Office, and DWMS.
