Our Organization and Mission The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Pay $42,000 – $44,000 Annually
Position Summary This position is in the Victims Service Unit. This position ensures compliance with the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant program.
Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field.
Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Preference will be given to those with previous grant management experience.
The Work You Will Do Manages complex VOCA grants, which include but are not limited to:
- Conducting desk audits, complex on-site monitoring, and reviews for program compliance.
- Preparing reports of findings and corrective action needed.
- Reviewing and recommending approval for change requests and invoices submitted by sub-grantees.
- Providing technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.
- Reviewing documentation and processing monthly invoices
- Monitoring budgets, expenditures, and reporting requirements of subgrantees.
- Assisting in the implementation of grants management, including budget, expenditure, reporting, and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
- Preparing periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.
- Completes special projects and assignments as directed.
