Volt is immediately hiring for and Accounting Analyst- Fixed Asset in Spokane, WA!
As an Accounting Analyst you will:
Accounting Analyst will be working to maintain and work within our client’s PowerPlan, Fixed Asset system. They’ll be working with technical stakeholders, as well as with the Fixed Asset accounting group. This role will be helping to troubleshoot the PowerPlan system, build and configure reports and work to optimize the assets within the PowerPlan system.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- 2 years experience in general accounting, preferably with fixed asset experience
- 2 years experience working with computerized accounting/financial system.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Working knowledge of basic principles and methods of accounting, auditing and financial reporting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). - Working knowledge of accounting and/or financial operations and processes.
- Working knowledge of computerized accounting/financial systems and how it’s used in compiling, recording, maintaining accounting/financial transactions and information.
- Ability to translate financial data into reports and presentations for appropriate audience.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to recognize, research and resolve questionable data
- Organization skills and attention to details.
- Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
- Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely, and to meet strict timelines.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and apply policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory & legal requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially as consultation and accurate communication with non-technical individuals on technical matters
- Must have strong troubleshooting skill set
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people
This is a full time opportunity.
Pay Rate: $35.00-55.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
