Compensation: $40,000-$42,000/year, competitive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, voluntary supplemental benefits, 401(k), vacation, sick time, personal time, and paid holidays.

Summary:
The Education Programs Coordinator will join a team that depends on communication, collaboration, and autonomy. We believe in flexibility and creative problem solving. We prioritize the play in playmaking and a sense of humor is highly encouraged.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate our Actors studio, both young and adult, including assigning teaching artists, developing class themes, and administering registrations, payments, and all communication.
- Teaching as a member of the teaching artist roster by leading residencies, workshops, and after-school classes, with a primary focus on elementary aged students.
- Cultivate partnerships, prioritizing Trinity Rep’s relationship with Providence Public Schools and other community organizations. Continue to learn and grow.
- Co-Produce and direct the Write Here, Write Now! Student playwriting competition and festival with the associate education director.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional experience or a combined six years of experience or training in theater, theater education, or elementary education is desired. Must have at least two years of experience teaching, with a focus on elementary aged students, experience and passion for curricular design and lesson plan development for both school and out-of-school programming; knowledgeable about and demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, trauma-informed pedagogy, and social emotional learning; interest and passion for theater; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Effective communicator, both speaking and writing. Being bilingual is a plus (Spanish preferred).
Computer Skills:
Work comfortably with different types of technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Meets, etc.
