The Social Media and Coordinator at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry will support the Marketing Manager and execute our marketing efforts to recruit, capture and enroll new students, as well as grow BSSM’s digital presence through social media. This role serves as the key ingredient for school growth and expression.
This person should also be a passionate storyteller with a command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and serve a digital audience and online community.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage the BSSM’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks in order to spread testimonies, inspiring truths, and relevant information about our school.
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about BSSM and the Kingdom, both from existing students as well as from brand new audiences.
- Support the Marketing Department and BSSM Marketing Specialist in content strategy for YouTube growth
- Coordinate and schedule YouTube content
- Support and work with the BSSM Marketing Specialist to help distribute content that educates and inspires our audience and supports marketing goals.
- Drive consistent, relevant web traffic from our social network presence.
- Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach possible future students. Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
- Track performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles
- Report on KPI’s for each channel and campaign
- Creation and curation of micro-content such as captions, photography, social graphics, visual development, animated GIFs, and short-form video
- Present to leadership regularly on social plans and results
- Respond to messages received on social platforms in a friendly, timely, and supportive way
- Help assist, and execute the behind-the-scenes for BSSM IG Lives, and Q&A’s including preparation, script, planning, lighting, sound, sharing, and pack-down.
- Desire to serve Jesus, and BSSM leadership, in a growing and dynamic ministry school environment
- Assists Marketing Management with large projects, events, and community management
- Assist Management in organizing, filing, and archiving physical, and digital files in server, and cloud-based environments
- Collaborating with various staff members to gather media and information about media
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager to support department and organizational need
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent marketing or social media experience.
- Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
- Excellent communicator, creative thinker, and creative writer, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in using social media software (e.g. Coschedule Social Inbox) to schedule and monitor social media conversations.
- Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, inbound marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, and blogging.
- Planning and project management skills – set goals, make a plan to achieve them, and manage the process to reach said goals.
- Customer service – we’re looking for a people-person who enjoys engaging with people on social platforms.
- Proficient in the art of being succinct with the ability to convey their message in a short space, strong English, with no grammatical errors that also encourages people to engage with the content we share.

Salary Range:
$35,880 – $47,840 annual
