The Position
The Educational Services Division is currently accepting applications for Specialized Physical Health Care (SPHC) Assistants to provide specialized physical health care services to severely medically disabled special education students, which includes assisting staff members, maintaining records and documenting the provision of health care procedures.
This position has a work year of 12 months/ 212 days/ 6 hours per day.

Education and Experience
Any combination equivalent to:
- Education: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, AND
- Experience: Two years experience providing services to severely medically disabled persons including one year working with or serving individuals with exceptional needs or behavioral deficits.
- Education Substitution: Completion of 30 college semester units which include coursework directly related to the job, such as behavior management, psychology, child care, child growth, and development may substitute for six months of the required experience.
May require travel between sites.

- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
