Senior Manager, Data Analytics

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics, Real-World Data. You will play a key role in leading a team of analysts specialized in RWD analytics and collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders (technical and business groups) in managing RWD client deliveries, ensuring customer delight and design, developing and executing high-impact RWD driven product solutions. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or data science
  • 10+ years of experience in an RWD analytics or RWD ETL domain
  • 10+ years of experience with RWD analytics and product management skillsets, with the ability to create business value through innovative data product solutions
  • 5+ years of leadership experience working with cross-functional teams (business and technology teams) in a dynamic environment
  • 10+ years of experience working with US healthcare data and coding standards and patient-level healthcare claims data (e.g., insurance claims, remittance data, electronic health records, etc.) based on analytic solutions and methodologies
  • 7+ years of experience working with relational databases (such as Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift, and Snowflake) and strong working knowledge of SQL.

It would be great if you also had…

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience leading agile teams and building strategic partnerships internally and externally.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipeline workflows in a big data environment

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and leading a team of the RWD delivery execution team, collaborating with other segments (project management and client engagement) to oversee, plan, and manage the timely delivery of data products
  • Responsible for day-to-day leadership of a portfolio of projects/ product initiatives, managing resource planning, timeline estimation, developing analysis plan, and driving the execution by working closely with a cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, data scientists, etc
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Clarivate’s RWD clients and maintain the client relationship to ensure customer delight
  • Provide training to the clients purchasing Clarivate’s proprietary RWD products on the best practices and healthcare analysis with Clarivate’s RWD.
  • Collaborate with various teams (e.g., RWD users, software developers, data analysts, and data scientists) to identify mechanisms to modularize data transformation, analytic, or AI components and scale research-ready RWD products to cater to different internal and life sciences use cases in a standardized, expedited manner.
  • Client data delivery and RWD product enhancements
  • Designing, developing, and implementing a standard set of data quality assessment checks that communicate the quality of Clarivate’s data products to internal and external parties
  • Work closely with the engineering team to provide analytical guidance and contribute to the codebase to build prototypes and models for new RWD-driven product development.

About the Team

As part of a team of 9 – Combination of Analysts, Senior Analysts, Lead Analysts – you will be part of a highly collaborative group. This team is involved in high-visibility projects that feed directly into the development of strategy and revenue generation.

Hours of Work

  • Full time, permanent
  • Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required

The expected base salary for this position is $135,000 – $175,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for (incentive or bonus) earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise and relevant factors.
