Given its explosive growth, TheGuarantors is hiring a Strategy Associate to help support the Strategy, Business Operations, and Corporate Development team on top priority initiatives. This team plays a central role in planning as well as execution for any organic growth, new product development, M&A activity, and fundraising. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment, while interacting with, leveraging, and influencing key stakeholders across the organization.
Location
This role will be located in NYC approximately 4 days per week
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Conduct a disciplined, rigorous, and thorough strategic review and strategic planning process, properly understanding business performance and aligning on the appropriate path forward, consistently measure performance against that strategy, and collaborate with functions across the organization to drive execution.
- Product Growth Strategy & Management: Evaluate business opportunity of new products and adjustments to existing core products, contribute to product roadmaps, working with product team and other cross functional groups to source ideas and partnerships, run market research and pre-phase analysis, and project manage initiatives.
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Research best practices for high-impact operational processes and surface potential alternatives or adjustments for the company’s consideration. Conduct analyses to estimate the impact of any proposed operational adjustments.
- Ad Hoc Projects from the Founder/CEO: Execute top priority initiatives and analyses for the founder/CEO, Julien Bonneville.
- Board Communications: Develop materials for quarterly meetings with the Board of Directors and provide other analyses and updates for Board members.
- Fundraising/Inorganic Growth: Support due diligence processes and inorganic growth initiatives (i.e. M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, etc.). Prepare necessary presentation materials for investors and board of directors.
- Project Management: Support and collaborate with other members of the Strategy, Business Operations, and Corporate Development team and other stakeholders throughout the organization to manage ongoing projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or an equivalent program
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skillset, with superior attention to detail and an ability to put structure around ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information appropriately for both internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Ability to work up, down, and across large organizations; connecting at all levels )i.e., Analysts to C-Suite)
- Exceptional organization and time management skills and a roll up your sleeves mentality with excitement to research and learn what you don’t know
- Empathy, integrity, and a sense of humor!

Base Salary
The base salary range is between $85,000-$92,000 annually.
Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
