Senior Product Manager, Tech, Personalization & Generative AI

Our vision at the Music ML and Personalization team is to offer Amazon customers delightful personalized audio experiences by building world class customer understanding, content recommendations and experience optimization platforms. As a team, we play multiple roles at Amazon Music – one, we develop ML models, platforms and capabilities, and experiment with them across experiences to improve personalization for music and podcasts across visual and voice experiences; two, we invest in building personalized experiences ourselves like playlists (daily mixes, discovery mixes) and recommenders (new releases for you recommender); and three, we incubate state of the art ML and AI technologies like Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and leverage them to lift many boats.

As a Senior Product Manager for ML & Personalization, you will help our team build and execute a strategy for becoming the world’s most personalized audio streaming service. This role will be focused on ML and personalization capabilities for Amazon voice experiences (on Alexa) particularly Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and conversations. This PMT will work cross functionally with Alexa, voice CX, podcasts and Prime and Free tiers teams to understand customer and stakeholder needs, and define a vision and strategy for our NLU and conversations platforms. They will extensively analyze and leverage Large Language Models and Generative AI technologies to improve the quality of voice experiences.
