Business Intelligence Analyst (PowerBI)

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with a focus in PowerBI to join our Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS) portfolio enablement team! In this role, you’ll make key data & metrics easily consumable for data-driven decision-making by collecting, formatting, and presenting data and business context to build relevant numeric and graphical summaries. You’ll cultivate meaningful data that reveal insights about current state while understanding and communicating what the data means.

This team’s focus is ensuring the RIS goals align to our overall enterprise strategic imperatives through prioritization and value realization using data and visualization.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Build & maintain data aggregation processes and dashboards, creating interactive and compelling visual, numeric, and written summaries.
  • Function as a data domain expert, establishing data standards & requirements with data engineers and ensuring they are followed.
  • Promote data literacy and a self-serve culture across the enterprise; Train & mentor business users on BI tools.
  • Analyze business intelligence data to advise business and product decisions.
  • Blend historical data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources as input to analyses.
  • Identify and analyze industry/geographic trends and competitor market strategies and track current/potential customer trends.
  • Partners with other areas of the business (e.g., Marketing, Product, Technology, Customer Service, etc.) to model the outcome of implementing potential business strategies.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or analytical field
  • 4+ years of data insights, analytics and visualization
  • Leading large and complex projects or processes with limited oversight from manager
  • Desire to learn new skills and continuously grow
  • Mentoring and reviewing work of peers
  • Utilization of dedicated business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g., Domo, Looker, PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, SiSense, Dataverse), but may also use the reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors (e.g., Jira, Oracle BI, Salesforce, SAP Business Objects, Pentaho, SSRS)
  • Experience in PowerBI preferred

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$77400 – $147600 / year

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
