Overview:
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Paralegal to join the Legal teambased in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will report into the Company’s VP & Associate General Counsel, and will be responsible for a wide variety of transactional and organizational matters including:
- Managing and shepherding internal processes for approving, executing, and filing contracts
- Drafting agreements for review by in-house counsel
- Maintaining internal databases and contract management systems
- Assisting with management of the Company’s IP portfolio, brand enforcement and anti-counterfeiting program
- Managing administrative matters, such as submitting invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of relevant paralegal experience (intellectual property experience preferred)
- Prior in-house experience a plus
- Must be an exceedingly organized and able to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Meticulous attention to detail
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:
The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000-$80,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
