Description
The Assistant Director, Talent Acquisition, Development and Accountability (Institutional Effectiveness) is responsible for facilitating the College’s planning and assessment processes and coordinating the College’s accreditation compliance responsibilities according to College’s accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. To accomplish this, the Assistant Director supports processes to demonstrate the Institution’s effectiveness as well as its compliance with the principles of accreditation. Supports the overall functioning of the Talent Acquisition, Development and Accountability (TADA) Office. Work is performed under the general administrative direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition, Development and Accountability.
Examples of Duties

  1. Collaborate with the Director, TADA to implement and maintain institutional effectiveness (IE) processes, such as strategic planning, annual unit planning, and assessment, program/unit review, competency assessment, and program learning outcomes.
  2. Develop and utilize effective assessment measures related to student learning, including program learning outcomes and competency assessments. Coordinate the completion of program reviews, unit plans, and other assessments for the College.
  3. Support the Director, TADA in directing and conducting accreditation reporting such as the compliance report development, substantive change notifications, prospectus development, and focused report.
  4. Facilitate the completion and submission of various College reports; including, but not limited to, the Affordability Report, Cost Analysis, Students with Disabilities Report, Textbook Affordability Report, Developmental Education Accountability Report, Clery Report, Baccalaureate Report, etc.
  5. Coordinate the process to obtain and maintain programmatic accreditation; including, but not limited to, ACEN.
  6. Develop and analyze the feasibility of potential new programs for the College.
  7. Support the Director, TADA in the development and assessment of the College’s Strategic Plan.
  8. Coordinate research studies with emphasis on student outcomes research to address concerns such as student learning, student success, student satisfaction (including administration of CCSSE and SENSE), developmental student tracking, non-returning students and student persistence, and other student-related issues as requested by departments, divisions, and administrators.
  9. Coordinate the College’s student course evaluation process; including, but not limited to, facilitation of the distribution and collection process, administration of the surveys, utilization of survey equipment and software, and dissemination of results.
  10. Facilitate the development, implementation, and analysis of online surveys utilizing the College’s electronic surveying software.
  11. Coordinate, collect and analyze institutional and student performance data.
  12. Prepare the annual state program reviews in collaboration with the Director, Institutional Research and Reporting.
  13. Develop communication activities including presentations, website development and updating, and relevant publications.
  14. Coordinate with the Director, Institutional Research and Reporting to communicate measures of institutional effectiveness and provide accurate and timely data and information in support of administrative decision-making, planning, and policy.
  15. Collaborate with the Director, Institutional Research and Reporting to conduct internal and external research studies on material issues of significance to the CFK community and conduct special studies as requested by college administrators or faculty committees.
  16. Stay abreast of changes in policies and procedures; maintain knowledge of current trends, events, and emerging issues; and identify information, programs, and resources useful to the Office of TADA.
  17. Independently assist all units of the college to develop, implement, and utilize assessment processes to improve their function.
  18. Chair the Institutional Effectiveness Committee.
  19. Develop and deliver verbal presentations of institutional effectiveness processes and student achievements for both internal and external groups.
  20. Serve on college committees.
  21. Assist in College recruitment and retention efforts, as appropriate.
  22. Required to attend Graduation/Commencement ceremonies.
  23. Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field required, master’s degree preferred.
• Three (3) years progressively responsible experience in the areas of duties described above required.
• Experience in the postsecondary setting required.

FLORIDA RETIREMENT SYSTEM – Full-time and regular part-time employees participate in the Florida Retirement System (FRS). The College contributes the current retirement percentage of the individual’s salary, and the employee would contribute the current retirement percentage based on their salary. PAID TUITION – Tuition fees for credit courses taken at the College are waived for employees and their eligible dependents, including domestic partners. Tuition and student fees are waived for non-credit physical education courses.
