Regional Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Team Leader to lead our door-to-door canvassing teams in promoting solar power to homeowners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, team management, and a passion for renewable energy. This individual will be responsible for building and managing teams, conducting interviews and training sessions, and ensuring the overall success of their assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and manage high-performing door-to-door canvassing teams:

– Recruit, interview, and hire new team members

– Train and develop team members to become top-performing next generation leaders

– Assign and manage team leaders (TLs) to maximize their potential and ensure the success of their assigned areas

2. Conduct regular training sessions and boot camps:

– Organize and lead training sessions for new hires and existing team members

– Conduct boot camps in assigned areas to ensure team members are well-prepared and knowledgeable about solar power and our products

3. Spend at least two days per week in the field:

– Work alongside team members to provide guidance, support, and motivation

– Lead by example by achieving a minimum of two sales per month

4. Assign and manage areas for all team leaders:

– Train team leaders on how to maximize their assigned areas and manage their teams effectively

– Monitor and evaluate the performance of team leaders and their teams, providing feedback and support as needed

5. Audit and monitor the use of Spotio (our sales tracking software):

– Ensure that all team members are using Spotio correctly and consistently

– Review and audit dispositions daily, providing feedback and support to team members as needed

6. Conduct monthly leverage meetings in each sales area:

– Organize and lead meetings to discuss team performance, share best practices, and motivate team members

– Encourage team members to bring at least one potential recruit to each meeting, fostering a culture of leveraged recruitment

7. Build a strong brand identity for your division:

– Develop and implement strategies to create a sense of pride and competition among team members

– Achieve performance metrics that allow your division to earn custom-branded swag, such as shirts and hats

8. Attend quarterly meetings and strategy sessions with company leadership:

– Participate in strategy meetings, retreats, and specialty training sessions for management

– Provide input and feedback on company-wide initiatives and strategies

9. Demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the company and its mission:

– Uphold the company’s values and mission in all interactions with team members, customers, and the community

– Foster a culture of loyalty and dedication among team members

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement industries

– Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others

– Proficiency in using sales tracking software, such as Spotio

– Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting solar power as a sustainable energy solution

-Door to door canvassing experience is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 – $111,000.00 per year
