We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with the development team to identify and address any defects or issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Your expertise in test planning, test case creation, and test execution will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software.

This position is for Quality Assurance Engineer / Sr. Software Tester (NO REMOTE)
What you will do…
– Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality
– Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize areas for testing
– Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
– Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them
– Design and maintain test data, test environments, and test systems
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the development team
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth release and deployment of software
What you bring to the table…
*** Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, particularly in accounting software
*** Familiarity with accounting principles and financial workflows.
Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Nice to have…
*** Experience testing Accounting, Finance Software and other type or ERP
*** Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
*** General knowledge of QuickBooks & other accounting software
– Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
