• Develop social creative strategy and content execution to amplify brand messaging and drive earned media value across TikTok, Instagram and key global social channels.
• Create awe-inspiring, creative content/campaigns that resonates with target audiences across New Product Launches, Organic content and paid social.
• Bring creative innovation to MAC’s TikTok, Instagram as well as key social channels and stimulate the development of new ideas with the 360 creative teams.
• Develop creative strategies and content to work natively with all global platforms, and work with regions to develop toolkits to elevate and amplify localized messages.
• Grow engagement and reach on TikTok.
• Evolve and introduce new content formats for TikTok and key social channels.
• Constantly strive for better, more innovative solutions across media channels.
• Proactively track trends in culture, design, user experience, and social media.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and analytics team to build iterative models.
• Work with MAC Momentum (Production) team to develop evergreen and assets to support business goals.
• Exhibit a broad understanding of the digital landscape, leading trends, and changes in consumer behavior, identify social innovations to leverage on TikTok, Instagram and MAC’s key social platforms.
• Research and analyze industry trends and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and creative techniques.
• Oversee production process of social content.
• Introduce new talent, vendors, and agencies for video and digital projects.
• Ability to program organic content and use collaborative tools to measure and manage.
• Maintain visual and conceptual consistency with brand strategy for collections and apply to all digital mediums; maintain awareness of future programs and initiatives and how they relate to overall creative strategy.
• Ability to handle more than one assignment at a time across the brand and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail.
• Work collaboratively with Artistry and Education teams to bring How To content and strategies to life.
• Report to the creative lead and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
• BA or BFA required.
• 8+ years of work-related experience.
• Proven success across social media (personally or commercially) with metrics and case studies.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
• Ability to work assertively and comfortably with a variety of people in various disciplines.
• Familiarity of social programming and analytics tools.
• Deep understanding of online and social media design.
• Superior organizational and management Skills.
• Understanding of all current trends; global fashion, beauty, design, art, music, and culture.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and turn around superior creative work in extremely limited timelines.
• Ability to manage, direct and inspire other team members.
• Excellent typographic skills.
• Knowledge and practice of filmmaking, animation, writing is a plus.
• Is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
