Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Application Transformation Manager who will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and improving our services to maintain customer satisfaction. The role will encompass the main tasks of a Service Delivery, however, include managing projects, tracking service metrics, managing budgets, while leading the Service Delivery Team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strong experience on Application Management transformation.
• Moving operating model by implementing full stack observability by adopting the SRE model
• Driving micro service development project in cloud environment
• Being able to successfully bring in the experiences on Application rationalization and BVM from prior engagements and be able to articulate the value and savings generated.
• Be able to showcase depth on operating model transformations, how a next gen application management landscape (Support + Development) should work hand in hand leveraging POD models / Product based models to reap benefits.
• Have Java development back ground at his/her earlier career then grown as Engineering manager
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide leadership to the Service Delivery Team
• Advise and coach team members
• Manage the Service Delivery Schedules
• Understand customer needs and provide the best level of service
• Manage, track and deliver transformation initiatives, i.e., value add for both Cognizant and the client
• Bring new opportunity to grow business in both managed service and the T&M engagement
• Effectively communicate with the client, MDU and other cognizant teams on RFP, SOW renewal, and proactive proposals
• Cross skill and Upskill team to manage various technology scope of work
• Deliver transformation and automation along with thought leadership on latest technology and trend
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful incumbent will be a seasoned practitioner with a proven track record of success
• 15+ Overall experience in IT and 5+ years of experience in Engineering management managing Application development & Transformation Projects
• Service delivery manager in managing support and development project in Travel & Hospitality domain with prior experience in managing client partners at the executive level.
• Extensive experience managing multiple year managed service engagements (minimum 2 to 3 years of engagement is preferred)
Preferred Skills/Qualification:
• Experience in a managing Large Scale Application Development project
• Basic knowledge on Java, advance java, microservice
• Basic AWS cloud knowledge
• Experience in Travel & Hospitality Industry.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000- $145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
