Overview
Opportunity to work for a top 20 Bank, with advancement opportunities both in the department and other functional areas of CIT and First Citizens Bank. The AVP/VP Portfolio Manager will support the Healthcare Portfolio Management team with managing existing Medical Office Building real estate loans. You will also act as a primary contact for Borrower’s CFOs and Controllers; you will also be responsible for vetting Borrower’s compliance certificates and financial statements.

- The AVP/VP will support the HC PM team with managing existing MOB real estate loans.
- The AVP/VP will act as primary contact to Borrower’s CFOs and Controllers. Will be responsible for vetting Borrower’s compliance certificates and financial statements.
- Respond to Borrower’s and Sponsor’s ad-hoc requests.
- Draft amendment and waiver request memos on an as needed basis.
- The position requires a candidate to have strong presentation, credit and analytical skills that can multi-task and work in a high paced team environment.
- Assist with special projects, audits, and other ad hoc duties on an as needed basis.
- Will interact with Credit Management, Borrowers, support Senior Underwriters, Operations and Closing teams, and collaborate with peers.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $130,000 to $155,000. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree and 4+ years of experience in Real Estate, Business, Finance, and/or Accounting.
- Experience in CRE finance with focus on credit portfolio management and underwriting.
Other/Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree a plus.
- Experience underwriting/portfolio management in Medical Office Buildings a plus.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, written and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/MS Office and Argus.
- Formal Bank credit training a plus.
