As the Activation Manager your primary purpose is to lead the Activation team to integrate customer data into Phocas software and complete technical services tasks while minimizing the time to value for customers. .

Here’s how you’ll do that:
- Inspire and lead a regional team of Technical Consultants to provide world-class integration and technical services to new and existing customers, ensuring exceptional delivery from sales to go live.
- Define, agree and deliver team objectives in alignment with global Solutions, Customer Success and Adoption Teams.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to continuously improve products, internal processes and documentation as they relate to Establish a deep working knowledge of Phocas solutions, our offerings, and our value proposition to both customers and partners customer integrations.
- Motivate, coach and guide the regional Activation Team to maximize their individual and team performance.
This is what you’ll need to do it:
- Demonstrable success in leading a team training, coaching, delegation and development.
- Practical hands-on experience and strong knowledge of relational databases, including T-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Working knowledge of REST APIs would be an advantage.
- Strong project management skills, including leading a team to scope, plan, execute and close projects.
- Strong customer focus, experienced in building strong working relationships and providing excellent customer experience.

Salary Range: $135,000 to $165,000 (Salary range is subject to regional differences and assumes fully qualified based on job requirements).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. In lieu of degree, relevant equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a technical discipline.
- Experience with Integration Services (working with multiple ERP systems).
- Knowledge of project management tools, preferably with Smartsheet’s and JIRA.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with customer adoption, engagement and retention metrics and ability to analyze data to drive insights and actions.
- Experience in managing issues, scope, and quality while bringing areas of responsibility and tasks to completion under strict deadlines.
Desirable
- Deep understanding of Phocas’ key verticals (manufacturing, wholesale, distribution and retail).
- Experience working with Phocas or related products.
- Experience with ETL processes.
- Leadership and coaching training / qualifications.
