The Senior Director, Program Management maintains the standards dedicated to program management, orchestrates the reporting cycle, and provides assurances to the executive management team that program operations are being managed in accordance with group policy and standards. The Senior Director, Program Management deploys, and trains Cabin program management personnel on the Safran PROMPT GRPs, and handbook. The Senior Director, Program Management ensures that the program management staff is properly following PROMPT GRPs. The Senior Director, Program Management ensure continuous alignment with group level standards.
Summary of Duties:
• Responsible for providing standard Safran PROMPT referential training and tools
• Responsible for ensuring PROMPT referential is correctly applied, continuously improved, changes flowed down, and company best practices promoted to Group
• Works with Division Program Management to ensure programs are properly planned
• Works with Division Program Management to ensure program business case is properly generated and maintained.
• Works with selected Cabin program managers to help implement PROMPT & improve program performance
• Leads, coaches and mentors program management team members for professional development
• Interacts effectively with leadership to improve the Cabin program management function
• Responsible for creating unique tools to establish Cabin reporting/metric governance
• Participates in the development, deployment and implementation of corporate objectives and standards for Program Management.
• Develops and provides reporting standards, templates and tools to the division program management.
• Evaluates current program management performance and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Fosters a continuous improvement & risk management mindset
• Responsible for working with Cabin PMO leader and Human resources to establish standard program management job descriptions
• Conducts internal audits against released program management processes, reports findings and corrective actions/recommendations
• Responsible for mentoring and coaching Program Management team including Directors and Managers
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel specifictity

Candidate skills & requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Typically requires 15 years of program management experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Project, competent with MS Office programs.
Other Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to analyze & summarize information, strong financial acumen.
• Ability to lead by influence to achieve assigned goals and objectives in a matrix organization
• Global organization experience, able to work with many different leaders, and management styles in an international environment

The expected salary range for this position is between $148,820 – $233,860 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
