Arcadis seeks an experienced Roadway Project Engineer to join our Tennessee Roadway Team.

Role description:
As a lead Roadway Project Engineer, you will assist in the development and design of various types of roadway design projects, including but not limited to, the construction and/or reconstruction of all types of roadway facilities such as local roads, collector streets, arterials, freeways, interstates, and bridge replacement. Large projects will include various types of interchanges, from simple diamond to complex multi-level interchanges.
Role accountabilities:
Other duties include: working on multi-disciplined projects such as planning and feasibility studies; assisting Project Manager and engineers; working as an individual or through team efforts to assist in developing project scopes and budgets; interfacing with and maintenance of client needs for the Project Manager; mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters; maintaining project schedules; and ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
- 7 or more years’ experience which includes experience on TDOT projects.
- Professional Engineers License (PE)
Key Attributes:
- Engineering experience with infrastructure design, which includes extensive experience in the preparation of construction plans, technical reports, construction estimates, and project displays.
- Proficiency with Microstation, GeoPak, OpenRoads, and Corridor Modeling.
- Experience with TDOT design standards, practices, and policies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage and run meetings and to prepare written reports and meeting minutes.
- The ability to work on and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and be a self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts.
- Experience in a client facing role, either as an individual or part of a team, and making presentations and managing client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TN Professional Engineers License (PE)
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82400 – $123600.
