Manager of Public Relations
The Manager, Public Relations is responsible for leading and supporting public relations efforts for high-profile integrated accounts. This position will be responsible for providing strategic PR counsel that delivers impactful results.
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$120,000

Position Summary
The Manager, Public Relations is responsible for leading and supporting public relations efforts for high-profile integrated accounts. This position will be responsible for providing strategic PR counsel that delivers impactful results.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the development and management of integrated PR programs for a wide variety of high-profile national and regional clients.
• Provide strategic counsel to both internal teams and clients on PR strategies, activities and tactics.
• Lead proactive media relations efforts for all accounts across all media platforms. Arrange, coordinate and manage media requests and interviews.
• Develop and cultivate media relationships on behalf of clients and the agency.
• Manage media monitoring, tracking and reporting for all programs.
• Work closely with the project teams to develop innovative ideas and campaigns.
• Serve as the day-to-day client contact and PR project manager.
• Create and manage project plans, including project objectives, details and logistics from start to finish.
• Maintain focus on keeping our commitments regarding quality, time and budget.
• Contribute to developing and delivering successful campaigns that may involve more aspects than just PR.
• Working knowledge of fully integrated campaigns that leverage marketing, engagement marketing, advertising and social media (among others).
• Contribute to campaign development and execution through strategy development, project management and tactical activities.

– Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Public Relations
5+ years of experience in public relations

– Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
– Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

– Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
