The Support Services Technician will support both internal staff and elected officials in all matters pertaining to Information Technology. This position requires a commitment to excellent customer service and technical skills. This is an internal support role, but there is also an expectation to work directly with contractors, vendors, and other government agencies as needed. The Support Services team is the first point of contact for all IT issues, and the team strives to resolve as many issues as possible at tier one. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working support tickets, answering phone calls and messages, assisting team members, maintaining hardware and software inventory, driving to city facilities as needed, leading individual projects, participating in an on-call rotation, and working after hours on occasion for special meetings.

What You Bring To Us

  • An Associate’s degree in a similar field is required.
  • Two (2) – Five (5) years relevant IT, help desk, ticketing or service desk experience.
  • Ability to remain flexiblewith your schedule.
    • Following the completion of training, this individual will be an on-call rotation, approximately every 3/4 weeks.
