Amazon Lending is seeking an innovative, customer-centric, and results-driven individual to join our US team as a Product Manager. This candidate will be responsible for developing and managing US Amazon Lending products that solve small and medium-sized businesses (SMB)’ challenges getting the capital they need to grow their businesses. To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, highly demanding, and often ambiguous environment, while maintaining attention to detail. The preferred candidate will have proven experience of distilling customer needs into new product opportunities, developing near-term and long-term product strategy, and delivering against the strategy in a cross-functional team environment. Above all, the successful candidate will have passion for SMBs’ success.
Key job responsibilities
-Define the long-term strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs: Conduct customer research, identify gaps in product/experience offering, and design solutions that address unmet customer needs.
-Own a suite of products and their P&L: Build and deliver against product roadmap, and create meaningful KPIs to drive continuous product improvement
-Drive strategic product communications and act as the product subject matter expert: Own customer product engagement and design product value propositions.
-Define strategic pricing vision: Drive pricing innovation and influence worldwide pricing strategy
-Lead the day to day operations: Assess and manage risks, monitor and report on progress with actionable insights, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, and provide escalation management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- 5+ years of experience owning a suite of products and the P&L, delivering long range strategy and vision, and mining customer needs based on internal insights and industry research.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Track record of advising and influencing internal and external senior stakeholders on business strategy, demonstrating ability to translate insights into clear and actionable business opportunities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
