About the Opportunity:
Leading Life-style/Action Sports Brand is looking for an experienced AP Manager who will be reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing all transactions impacting the Accounts Payable subledger and managing the accounts payable clerks.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, with an ability to work well with others but also independently.

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the and assist in processing vendor invoices and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform and oversee day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data. This will include 3 way matching of production vendors.
- Manage the accounts payable team, which may include recruiting and mentoring AP Clerks.
- Manage relationship and inquiries with vendors to ensure that all vendor invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Responsible for overseeing cash outflow and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Responsible for overseeing the printing, mailing, and reconciliation of weekly check runs including outbound ACH and wires in several different bank accounts.
- Support monthly close by analyzing the A/P aging and preparing month end accruals.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process identifying areas of performance improvement.
- Manage corporate credit card program and new vendor set up and credit application process.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
- Support other accounting and finance team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experience within an Accounting department.
- 6+ year`s work experience in Accounts Payable with demonstrated levels of advancement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required.
- Must be organized.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must, as problem resolution with Vendors and Finance are key components of the job.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable functions.
- Flexible team player that enjoys hands on responsibilities, with an ability to be proactive and a self-starter.
- Apparel industry experience a plus.
- Experience with Full Circle ERP and Microsoft d365 a plus.
