Associate Degree of Applied Science preferred.
Bachelor of Business Management, desired.
Must possess good communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
Minimum of three years experience in general management and supervision
One year experience in technical and semi-technical knowledge in housing operations, preferred
Be familiar with the Arizona School Retention Trust, Inc, preferred
Bilingual in Navajo and English, preferred
Intermediate computer skills in Excel; basic computer skills in Word
Ability to learn Visions software and School Dude Software
Valid Arizona Drivers License required
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Ability to obtain certification in Asbestos Abatement

Job Goal
Operate and monitor District housing within the district and be able to be self sufficient in staff housing units. Coordinate with different departments and state agencies to ensure policy and procedures are followed.
Essential Duties
Responsible for the overall planning, scheduling Preventive Maintenances, maintenance work orders, and repairs of staff housing units for occupancy.
Reviews occupancy reports to ensure that applications and assignment of dwelling units are in accordance with policies and procedures.
Responsible for compliance with all tribal, county, state, and federal guidelines for Housing regarding health & safety codes, including hazardous material requirements.
Responsible for checking in/checking out tenants at appointment time, document, and submit reports in a timely manner to Superintendent and Business Office.
Responsible for Requisitions of supplies and appliances for housing units.
Plans long range schedule of major preventive maintenance repairs on units such as re-roofing, painting exterior of dwellings, gas readings, water sampling.
Provides information to departments and to tenants in a responsive and timely manner.
Configures and prepares work order requests through School Dude.
Communicates, creates, updates, and manages a computerized record of housing availability.
Conducts regular testing of all fire hydrants and prevention devices to include extinguishers and fire alarms in all housing units to ensure proper working order.
Holds housing staff accountable for maintaining equipment for daily usage.
Inspect completed work orders for completeness of workmanship and accuracy of documentation.
Approves the overall scheduling of housing employees.
Promotes harmonious relations among tenants and housing personnel.
Promotes Teamwork.
Responsible for emergency call outs for Housing and update Supervisor in a timely manner.
Keeps Director of Support Services informed of status and progress of ongoing special tasks. In addition, alerts Director to potential or unforeseen complications pertaining to current policy implementation or related to goals and procedures.
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
