Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure Certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 in similar environment (1500 users)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in providing end user support in IT landscape
  • Hands-on experience with configuring, administrating or troubleshooting network, server and storage devices and vendor specific certifications
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various work elements simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Friendly and collaborative work style

Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The YMCA of San Francisco is looking for a responsible IT administrator and support analyst to enhance, maintain and support use of workforce productivity platforms in use at the YMCA of San Francisco. The Workforce Services Administrator will enhance, maintain and support use of workforce productivity platforms in use at the YMCA of San Francisco. Microsoft 365 is the primary collaboration platform. The Workforce Services Administrator will assist with improving effective use of platform capabilities – particularly around the use of SharePoint and Teams for collaboration and information sharing. Enabling functionality and managing services on the platform along with providing direct end user support for platform, Active Directory and desktop (Windows) will be primary responsibilities. As a member of the IT Infrastructure team, competency on core infrastructure platforms including Azure, HP networking and Checkpoint firewall products is desired to provide depth to the team.

Responsibilities include documenting and executing roadmap for upgrading and re-organizing the use of SharePoint, Teams and Outlook to achieve a more frictionless customer experience. Included in that vision for use of SharePoint is creation and management of an intranet presence currently lacking at the Y. Accessibility to information is a core strategic component of the Y’s 2030 Vision. Documenting capabilities for end user training purposes while enabling self-service delegated administration capabilities will be required.

Providing end user support for individuals and the Y’s multiple branches will require a combination of on-site presence and use of remote management tools. The ability to troubleshoot and assess situations using good communication skills and ability to navigate various vendor provided customer support portals. Being on-site to provide eyes on situation or remote hands while working with colleagues will be required. Some overtime or after business hour work will be required under direction and approval of direct supervisor.

$43.00 to $58.00 per hour
