Job Description:
Grinder Operator is responsible for weighing, reporting and grinding scrap in a safe and proficient manner. Will re-work on-hold product and cross-train as a QA Technician, to help with other tasks as needed.
Pay Rate:
$18.50/hr + $1.00 differential for night shift
SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000.00
Schedule:
Achieve work life balance with this consistent 2-week schedule:
7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am, Paid 84hrs Bi-Weekly (includes 14hrs of OT pay)
Work Week 1 – Monday, Thursday, Friday
Work Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Responsibilities
- Insure a quality regrind product is being produced by separating different polymers, making sure all handles and gaskets have been removed and recording regrind totals for each shift.
- Monitor granulator for proper operation and report any problems to Maintenance
- Maintain good housekeeping in Grinder Room, Scrap & Re-work Areas
- Ability to operator manual pallet jack
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented, good communication and dependability
- Must be able to lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions
- Basic math skills
- Standing for long periods of time
- Verbal communication skills and minimum writing skills are required to transfer and to interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments
