What You Get to Do:

Project Requirements Accountabilities:

  • Work with project team to build, configure, validate, and deliver project solutions to clients
  • Work with customer IT team and business users to collect functional requirements and required data for SmartHive MES applications.
  • Develop project documents including functional design and detailed design

Project Role Out:

  • Be technical expert resources for the project PM.
  • Support MES applications both during project implementation and maintenance period with troubleshooting and analytical skill

SI Support:

  • Provide training and expertise to new system integrators during their on boarding process.
  • Work along SI project team to provide guidance and advice on their solution design.
  • Interface with platform development team when platform changes more strategic than custom solution creation.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate the business analysists BA and system architects on a project basis to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Drive continuous improvement on the solutions deployment team in areas of tools, people and processes.

What You’ll Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business, computer science, engineering, or similar discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with a MES solution or other Manufacturing related software. APS, LIMS, ERP, and PLM.

Competencies:

  • Experience with Discrete or Process Manufacturing.
  • Experience in the Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing Processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISA-95, MESA, and SCOR standards
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and familiarity with the various phases such as gathering user Requirement Specifications, Solution design, developing software code and, executing test scripts
  • Proficiency with project management tools or software packages
  • Must be capable of solving complex project and engineering challenges with minimal assistance, as well as working with other Project Management and development staff to manage through challenges. Focus on and promptly manage through any sensitive or critical project issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing people
  • Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
  • Strategic, operational, and technical management skills
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines

Communications:

  • Communicate effectively with other Panasonic engineering staff and Executive Management, key customers, executive and project management staff for our clients and partners.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to provide clear and detailed technical reports and presentations
  • Coordination between multiple suppliers, subcontractors and project level agreements

Other Requirements:

  • Requires up to 90 percent travel. May require international travel for specific projects. Adherence to corporate travel and entertainment policy is required.

What We Offer:

The salary range of $130,000 -$170,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
