Overview
This position shall oversee and provide media services for the facility including video production on our Daktronics center-hung scoreboard and LED ribbons, digital media graphic design, and various technical services.
This role will pay a salary of $50,000 to $55,000.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and produce all sporting events, graduations, family shows and spectacles from an in-house digital entertainment perspective.
- Schedule and train part time employees with audio/video equipment (cameras, mixers, playback and switcher system, etc.) during all A/V required events.
- Supervise all video operation staff for events as they pertain to the video scoreboard and LED ribbon boards.
- Assist event staff and production staff of events in the building as they relate to the videoboard and LED ribbons.
- Keep accurate inventory of tools, machinery, cleaning supplies, and any related audio/visual equipment.
- Serve as primary liaison between Daktronics and Crown Complex relating to the management of the equipment service agreements.
- Perform off-season maintenance and preventive maintenance projects, and secure competitive bids for facility maintenance and repair projects as needed.
- Shoot and edit promotional video pieces for the Complex for various uses.
- Assist tenant sports team marketing and communication departments with various video projects, events, and motion graphics designs.
- Assist production department as needed with the set and strike of portable sound systems, microphones, projectors, and lighting equipment for various events and internal needs.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the Assistant GM/GM
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Extensive knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, Audio and Video systems, lighting systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of production systems such as video switchers, replay systems, routers, audio mixers, and video streaming equipment.
- Knowledge of various audio equipment (microphones, sound recording devices, speaker systems etc.)
- Knowledge of production camera equipment and operation.
- Prior supervision of A/V or similar staff strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in design and operation of video/matrix boards, at a fast -paced arena or like venue.
- Prior Daktronics experience a plus.
- Strong background in motion graphics design and video editing software (After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, are a must)
- Experience with video streaming services and live event production strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to learn new audio/video operations and workflows, and be able to teach methods to part time production staff.
- Must be able to competently analyze, prioritize and relay information to make appropriate recommendations for various productions.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
- Must have proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and strong organizational skills.
- Must be flexible with working long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Video/Audio Engineering, Communications or related fields.
Experience:
- A minimum 2-3 years experience with audio and video systems and Daktronics video matrix system.
- 1-2 years experience working in fast paced live event productions and entertainment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Office, and other related software.
- Prior experience in an Arena environment is recommended but not required.
