Engineering High School Internship (Facilities Department)
Job Description
The Engineering High School Intern would assist Engineering personnel with the safe and efficient maintenance of all equipment and other duties as assigned. This Internship is through Career EdVantage and gives students the opportunity to train and engage in meaningful work and provide a return on investment throughout the course of the internship. Required Qualifications
Ability to pass a background check.
Must be a current high school student.
Preferred Qualifications
Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
Physical Demands
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with internal and external customers, listen to and respond to accurate information and directions.
