Title of Position: Remote Inpatient Auditor
Fulltime Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday daytime / flexible
Specialties that the candidate needs to have:
- Cardiac Surgery
- Transplant
- Trauma
- Cardiothoracic
- Oncology
- Orthopedic
Experience needed:
- Auditing in EPIC
- Coding (when coding support needed) in EPIC
- Coder questions
- Pre bill mortality reviews
- Post bill mortality reviews
- Validation reviews (ensuring the coder make the recommended changes)
- DRG Outliers (we receive a list at the 1 st of every month to provide interim DRG’s for those patients who have been in house for a long time)
Systems required:
- EPIC and 3M 360
Location: Remote – can live anywhere
Certifications required: RHIT, RHIA, CCS
Years of experience required:
- 2 years of IP auditing experience
Pay Range: $30 – $45 per hour
