American journalist Margaret Fuller said, “If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.” The City of Surprise Youth Sports department is looking for Sports Instructors to share their flames of knowledge with local youth through camps and clinics
SUMMARY
Instructors are responsible for the planning, teaching, and execution of specialized instruction in a specific topic/skill to individuals participating in City of Surprise classes, programs, and sports camps.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in the topic area teaching, coaching, and/or making presentations, or any combination of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certifications related to a program area as required.
SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
