Description
DIRECTOR OF KINSHIP NAVIGATION
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s Degree in respective discipline is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have 5 to 7 years of experience in the respective field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must demonstrate through their actions a team player philosophy. Must have experience in inter-personal skills; and must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, to lead people and achieve results. Ability to work effectively with front-line, management and executive leadership staff. Confidentiality is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide supervisory oversight to the respective staff persons to ensure timely and quality services are rendered.
- Oversees Navigator expansion on the ground in New Hampshire, surrounding jurisdictions and out of state jurisdictions.
- To be directly responsible for the supervision of Kinship Navigator staff to ensure kinship focus during placement process of children through extensive family finding, screening of families and assessment.
- To review all documentation related to the Kinship Navigator tasks to ensure compliance with requirements.
- To interface with NHCYF staff and leadership to enhance the Kinship Navigator process and problem solve any concerns or barriers on a micro and macro level.
- To facilitate kinship navigator trainings with ASCI and NHCYF to support the program growth.
- To prepare written reports and gather monthly statistical data to/for leadership team of Child and Family services on designated subjects relative to program outcomes.
- To serve as the first line regarding on-call situations.
- Participate fully in all appropriate agency meetings related to the Director role.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Certificate of Insurance of vehicle
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Current Act 33 and 34 Clearances
- Available to work flexible schedule
- Carry agency-issued cell phone
- Serve agency On Call
