What you will learn and contribute to

Nokia of America Corporation, Product Line Manager (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA Define detailed technical requirements for product development and test groups, including scaling, redundancy, security aspects, and oversee the technical development and implementation of those requirements. Review functional specifications and test plans with the research and development team to ensure requirements alignment, and review marketing and documentation strategy and collateral. Liaise with and synthesize input from regional business centers, pre-sales organizations, marketing, business development groups, standards bodies and customers to identify and prioritize development of features and products with maximum business impact. Build business cases to select and justify development opportunities that optimize short- and long-term revenue and profit by delivering value to customers. Prepare and facilitate decision review meetings for new releases with stakeholders for approval. Stay up to date in areas of responsibility by reading standards, competitor whitepapers and communications, and communicating with customers and regional colleagues. Create technical customer documentation with the help of the technical writers. Guide sales and support teams with product expertise and deliver presentations to internal groups and external customers. Support the Request for Information and Request for Proposal processes including network design, bill of material creation, and guiding strategy product pricing, and search for opportunities to open new markets. Work with SR Linux, SR Operating System, and Fabric Services System solutions. #LI-DNI

Your skills and experience

SALARY: $244,375 – $302,120per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related work experience.

Of the required work experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following
• Managing implementation of behavior and capabilities of database/IPC implementations including MongoDB, Elastic, Prometheus, Neo4j, and Kafka;
• Managing northbound schema and application programming interface (API) of systems using YANG and REST, OpenAPI, and Swagger;
• Kubernetes;
• Microservices Architecture;
• Running and scaling of applications in containers and pods;
• Network services, including IP, VPN, and EVPN;
• Transport technologies, including MPLS, SR, SRv6; and
• Associated protection mechanisms and redundancy options, including end-to-end automation of services.

Of the required work experience, must have 2 years of experience with: Network management, including performance monitoring fault management, device bootstrap, and streaming telemetry.

Domestic travel required up to 10%.

International travel required up to 10%.
