Job Description
Summary:
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Strategy and Experience, the Website Application Development Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Web Development team.
- You will manage a talented team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers and will be responsible for the design and development of all web properties, deployment of ongoing site enhancements and fixes, as well as the ongoing health of site infrastructure.
- This is a Hybrid position where you will work 3 days/week in the office and 2 days/week from your home office.
Experience:
- Deep understanding of database development and consumption.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good knowledge of contemporary information systems industry trends, products, techniques, technologies, and processes.
- Highly proficient with modern CSS and HTML techniques and strategies while maintaining cross-browser compatibility.
- Extensive experience with common CMS Frameworks like WordPress.
- Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Experience establishing standards for web development processes and procedures that meet regulatory requirements for data protection and storage.
- Ability to design the front end and back-end web architecture for the website thinking about not only scalability but also lead generation.
- Proven ability to manage website development projects ensuring that they are on schedule and within budget.
- Deep knowledge of website security to ensure content, customer data, and databases remain secure from unauthorized access or use.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ Years of web development experience.
- 2+ Years of Management experience.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to people without a technical background.
- Strong business acumen – you understand the impact of decisions to the business and customers.
- Proven ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary:
- $103,927 – $150,689
