Position Description:

CGI is looking for a full stack Cloud Solutions Architect experienced in ASP.NET Core, SQL server, and modern HCD patterns who have a passion for solving problems. You will get the chance to optimize our existing Architecture, modernize our operations and lead development to evolve our solutions using up-to-date cloud services, modern architecture, and Human Centered Design patterns. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for end to end application architecture using the latest cloud technologies and leverage existing solutions to balance build vs buy strategy
• Perform full stack application design and architecture, services/solution integration, environment cost analysis, and data privacy and security
• Define and establish technical strategy, standards, and guidelines for responsible applications and solutions
• Collaborate with business and IT collaborators and various IT data practice teams to define transitional and future state of the application architectures
• Identify, evaluate, develop software solutions for POC development
• Lead architecture discussions, development and maintenance of architecture design documents such as ERDs, network diagrams, architecture diagrams, etc.
• Participating in development of major features for key projects
• Work as a Liaison between Delivery and Infrastructure team
• Actively seek ways to improve and evolve Application Architecture
• Review configuration and design changes to ensure consistency
• Translate business requirements from user stories into technical enablers/tasks & Develop solutions
• Perform code review and ensure utilization of development standard processes
• Work with Product Owner, PM, collaborators, and technical team members to ensure on time execution and delivery of solutions
• Serve as liaison to PM on project work break down and scheduling
• Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching standard methodologies in design and development
• Work with Product Owner to maintain technical roadmap

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 12+ years in prior development and delivery experience with .Net, C# Angular 8+, PostgreSQL, SQL sever, Restful/SOAP web services and Web-based application
• At least 10 years of Prior project architect and/or team lead experience in an Agile or SAFe environment
• 8 + years of proven experience with Azure and/or AWS services
• Led design and development of 3 or more complex, cloud-based architecture solutions in Azure or AWS
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerization
• Expertise with new technologies such as microservices, API management, web-scale architectures, DevOps engineering, container-based delivery, cloud automation, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Proven success facilitating software design and conceptualization sessions
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database models, and Analytical Data analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with low code/no code platforms such as Salesforce preferred
• Experience with automation testing preferred
• Understanding of AI/ML is plus
• Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills

12 years in ASP.NET Architecture, Development
5 years in Front End Development
3 years in Data architecture
Industry standard methodologies, security, patterns/anti-patterns
5 years in REST APIs, Web services, Messaging, Streaming
5 years in Cloud Technologies aws/azure & DevOps
5 + years Containerization
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 – $251,000.
