The Director of Operations / Swimming and Diving will assist in managing the budget and daily operations of the Swimming and Diving programs. This person will also be the main liaison to the Athletics Business Office, Anthony Travel, and External Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising travel for both team and staff; assist with the daily schedule of coaches and team; assist with fundraising and planning special events for alumni and donors; serve as on-site game day operations liaison; handle numerous administrative responsibilities for the head coach. This position reports directly to the Head Coach / Swimming.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree and/or bachelor’s degree with related experience.
Experience working or competing in a Division I “Power 5” athletic department swimming and diving program.
Experience with NCAA Championships as a coach, student-athlete, or administrator.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Understanding the recruiting process for student-athletes at the Division I “Power 5” level.
Commitment to diversity.
Experience working with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and/or student athletes.
The ability to travel to competition sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ARMS workflow software.
