Overview
We are seeking a product designer with a passion for finding solutions that allow users to intuitively use our products. Your mission will be to craft and validate designs for our web-mapping tool ArcGIS Online to enable organizations that connect people, locations, and data using interactive maps. You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members to turn insights into delightful products that require proven leadership skills and the ability to execute a creative vision.

Responsibilities
- Work with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional team members to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications for the development of new and established features
- Craft personas, user journeys, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
- Conduct peer reviews, gather usability feedback, and quality assess implementations of your designs and the designs of others
- Be a design leader, ensuring that others understand the value and effectiveness of user-centered design
- Stay fresh on new technologies and trends in the web design space
- Identify enhancements based on research (usability testing, scenario writing, study moderating and observing with prototypes and fully developed projects)
- Work with leadership and stakeholders to suggest improvements for team processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing for enterprise software, or similar experience
- High emotional intelligence; able to bring differing opinions and personalities together
- Proven proclivity toward self-ownership, driving results beyond your expected duties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with accessibility and usability, with a desire to learn more
- Leave ego at the door, making way for data-driven empathy and a collaborative work ethic
- Work samples that demonstrate your design abilities, how you think, and strong understanding of client objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors, HCI, graphic design, or related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher preferred

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $93,600.00 – $160,160.00.
