This flexible schedule position (50% in office/50% remote) can be staffed out of Reno, Nevada or Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

As part of the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence, the primary responsibility of this position is to provide BI reporting solutions using SAP HANA database and SAP BW on HANA application environments along with various front end reporting solutions such as Tableau, PowerBI and SAP BusinessObjects to all business functions for IGT globally.

  • Design and develop enterprise data models and solutions using SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA platforms to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
  • Interface with developers and business analysts to gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement efficient and scalable data models and reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data flows to extract data from various source systems and load it into the SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA environments.
  • Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure high performance and data integrity.
  • Create and manage data transformations, including complex calculations, aggregations, and derived metrics, to support business reporting and analysis needs.
  • Develop and maintain complex queries and data extraction logic to enable efficient data retrieval and reporting from sources such as SAP ECC, S4/HANA, SalesForce, MSSQL, etc.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and validate data requirements and deliver effective visualizations and reporting solutions in alignment with business objectives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW architecture and design
  • Proficiency in SAP HANA modeling techniques, such as attribute views, analytical views, and calculation views.
  • Experience with SAP Data Services or other ETL tools for data integration and data quality management.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business Explorer (Bex), Analysis for Office, and Web Intelligence (Webi).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Business Objects, for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA projects, preferably with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business including formal and informal presentations and workshops.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proficiency in ABAP programming within the SAP BW environment to develop custom data extractors, transformations, loading routines, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, PowerBI Desktop, Service, Gateways, SAP BW/Application/Message Server Connector, SAP HANA Database connector.
  • Knowledge of HANA security and CTS+/HANA application lifecycle management for promoting developments across clients.
  • Experience migrating developments from SAP BW on HANA to BW/4HANA is a plus.
  • SQL Server development skills – views, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices to create compelling and meaningful visualizations for business users.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $67,200 – $164,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
