Position Summary:

EVgo is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our growing company and Account Management team. If you love working with cross-functional teams to turn strategies into reality and have recognized as extremely organized and excel “getting stuff done” this may be the job for you. The Program Manager, Account Partnerships will collaborate and lead initiatives involving extensive cross-functional involvement with teams including marketing, software product, hardware, customer care, business development and finance teams to ensure industry-leading internal operations. The Partnerships Account Manager will also be responsible for managing high-profile partner relationships and ensuring EVgo performs its contractual obligations with said partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with external partners to represent EVgo to build strong rapport and congenial working relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan, including project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines for programs at EVgo.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Define and communicate program scope, goals, and deliverables to stakeholders, project teams, and senior management.
  • Identify and allocate resources, such as personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective program execution.
  • Monitor and track program progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments.
  • Conduct regular program status meetings, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain program management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and assess program performance against established goals and objectives, making recommendations for improvement or course correction as needed.
  • Prepare and present program reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and future plans.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of project/program management and with increasing levels of leadership on cross-functional projects.
  • MBA and/or management consulting backgrounds are a plus.
  • Passion for project management including an understanding of best practice processes and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills – very adept with spreadsheets and interpreting numbers.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and senior executives on strategic projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of, and strong interest in ongoing learning in best practice visual display of quantitative information.
  • Self-driven and outstanding ability to implement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience building cross-functional relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to lead teams that are not direct reports.

For job positions in CA, CO and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $90,000 USD to $125,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
