PT ~ Evening Shift
The role of theSupport Associate Position is to assist the staff in providing indirectresident care needs.
The SupportAssociate Position reports to and receives assignments from the Unit Manager /Nursing Supervisor.
ESSENTIALQUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS
• HighSchool education, presently in High School or in College Program
• Interestedin Health Care
• Mustbe able to read, write comprehend and speak English.
• Mustbe able to communicate with persons who may be visually and/ or hearingimpaired.
• Basicto Intermediate computer skills required

• Successfulcompletion of Fellowship Community Orientation
• Meetsthe requirements of the Pre-Hire Assessment

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Passout linens, briefs and gowns to residents as required by shift.
• Fillwater cups for residents and place in room.
• Answercall lights and if not able to carry out request refer to the TeamLeader/Certified Nursing Assistant for direction making sure call bells arewithin reach.
• Snackand Fluid Passes with emphasis on the diabetic residents.
• Handoutand collect food trays.
• Assistwith transporting residents to the main dining room and other diningareas.
• Paintingnails as needed.
• Assistwith feeding residents after receiving education.
• Changebed linens according to facility procedures.
• Provideone on one resident support/observation when necessary.
• Createand maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
