GPS Lead Financial Analyst

Work you’ll do
As an Analyst within our team you will:
- Explain, present, and analyze the financial performance of the business
- Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to the Business’ leadership
- Support the business leader to successfully implement the business strategy
- Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate the long-term financial planning process and develop metrics to monitor the performance against strategic objectives
- Deliver timely financial analytics and business counsel to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities
- Support an efficient and effective planning and forecasting process that produces accurate and achievable scenarios that align with business’s strategic objectives
- Support the business in protecting, growing and optimizing the assets of the Firm
- Support initiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives
- Continuously improve BP&A’s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by supporting internal change initiatives as part of the BP&A team

The Federal Enabling Areas team provides top notch support to Deloitte’s internal business units by developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related subject
- 2+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a professional services firm
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Working with various organization teams and leadership
- Problem solving skills
- Quality and risk management
- Project management
- Change management
- Business process improvement
- Experience working with offshore and remote teams preferred
- Formulating and delivering action plans for high profile strategic initiatives
- Developing innovative solutions to business issues
- Understanding of SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Business Client and other financial applications
- Advanced in MS Excel, PowerPointand Word
Preferred
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- All candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed for their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, most positions are in-office-based with limited travel required. While limited travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $115,680.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
If hired by GPS EFA and assigned to the GPS EFA Deference, Security, and Justice sector, the candidate must be a US Citizen.
