A Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician job is available with our service client located in Dallas, TX. This person will function as one of the Sr. Technician’s at the customer site for a long-term maintenance contract. Second Shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Must have AGV (Automated Guidance Vehicle) knowledge.
Key responsibilities:
• Repair and maintenance of AGVs including calibrating sensors, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, hydraulics troubleshooting, etc.
• Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry (5V to 480V).
• Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot AGV problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Performs complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
• Provide assistance with training customers to operate equipment.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
Qualifications:
• HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
• 3+ years of Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.
• Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems.
• Some experience with DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications is a plus.
• Must be able to evaluate and analyze, Semi-complex system/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend resolution of design-performance issues.
