Position: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Facility Manager
Summary: Conductsgeneral repair and maintenance duties according to Club and OSHA safetystandards.
Essential Functions
- Maintains and makes general repairs to theplumbing fixtures, electrical system, appliances, ventilation system andbuilding structure of the club.
- Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipesand faucets and clogged drains.
- Performs various duties involving painting,plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
- Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators andkitchen equipment.
- Inspects and observers all air handler unitsdaily.
- Inspects lighting throughout the club and make anynecessary changes.
- Performs preventive maintenance duties
- Changes air filters
- Completes work orders accurately and timely
- Keeps shop and work area clean and clear ofdebris.
- Cleans and reorganizes after every repair.
- Properly stores chemicals, paint, flammables andequipment.
- Follows all OSHA safety guidelines
- Assures proper use and handling of ladders, powertools and equipment.
- Responds to calls from staff and members formaintenance and other needs.
- Perform all work related duties as assigned bysupervisor or Manager

- Occasional interaction with members and vendors
WorkingConditions:
- Worker is subject to hot, humid and/or coldtemperatures
Education andExperience
- 2 year minimumexperience as maintenance technician
- High School or GED

- Wear (PPE)personal protective equipment when usingpower tools

- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
