The Role
Moxion is in search of a talented and enthusiastic Senior Visual Designer. We recently came out of stealth and have since been working to establish a rich visual style and identity throughout our brand. We need someone who is excited to expand on that mission as we work to convince the world to move toward clean, renewable power. In this foundational role, you’ll work directly with our Design Manager to create content and assets for use across the company. This includes basics like expanding our brand guidelines, further developing pitch decks and one pagers, but you will also support environmental design at our HQ and retail locations as well as brand treatments for hardware products and company swag. The position comes with the autonomy to help create processes and workflows, with the expectation that you’ll get feedback often and have the support to create amazing work. What you’ll do:
- Expand existing brand resources to create clean brand guidelines and templates supporting teams across the company
- Collaborate with Marketing to build out a rich library of resources for our Sales and Strategic Partnership teams to win customers and encourage new industries to adopt clean energy products
- Create materials for internal and external Learning and Development initiatives to help our employees and customers safely use and maintain our products for the long term
- Explore visual treatments for our hardware products to differentiate Moxion from other players in the market
- Support our Facilities teams in styling our offices, factories, and retail locations so that our spaces are pleasant and comfortable for staff and customers to occupy
Skills to be successful:
- 2-4 years of direct experience in a similar production role; preference for experience establishing brand principles and building production flows
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, Figma, etc; and interest in learning any and all tools that might help us improve our delivery process as we grow
- Excellent communication skills to express your ideas and collect feedback from all levels of the organization and from our clients
- A portfolio that demonstrates a range of previous work, communicates your design process, and displays a clean aesthetic (please send a link or pdf, along with any necessary passwords)

We currently use:
- Figma for building and sharing explorations, Adobe CS as needed for deliverables
- Jira/confluence for prioritizing and tracking projects
- G Suite for collaboration
$160,000 – $170,000 a year
Salary Range Description
Pay Equity
Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
