Pay Range
$36.50 – $45.32 Hourly
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.
Job Description
We have an opening for a Technical Coordinator II who will be responsible for support related to the safe and efficient operation of facilities supporting offices, industrial operations, scientific and research laboratories. You will perform technical and administrative duties in support of facility maintenance, technical projects, customer submitted requests, sponsor deliverables, and events. This position is in the Weapons and Complex Integration (WCI) Principal Directorate.
You will
- Provide Primary TESA Coordinator Support to 21 WCI facilities comprising of offices, industrial operations, scientific and research laboratories and in accordance with Security Organization/ Locks, Keys, and TESA Policy and Procedure.
- Provide general technical coordination support on multiple moderately complex large and small projects in collaboration with scientists, designers, technicians, engineers, internal organizations, external suppliers, and vendors.
- Coordinate and track multiple requests with frequently changing requirements and priorities while maintaining appropriate records and summaries to support project needs.
- Evaluate needs and submit appropriate service requests in various databases including EAM and Service Now.
- Arrange maintenance and repairs for multiple model vehicles and report mileage in Filemaker Pro database.
- Responsible for ensuring Division and Program activities, including furniture and equipment arrangements and setup is completed adhering to local and DOE policies for multiple conferences and meetings in various locations.
- Support common print/copy rooms coordinating supplies, meter reads, repairs, and copier meter reads for equipment.
- Plan and implement many Security and Access Control activities such as, ARGUS and TESA access, motion detector coverage and modifications for VTRs, and coordinate and repository locations.
- Promote and support plans to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top-Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at time of hire.
- Associate Degree in technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing/fabrication in an engineering or related field.
- Experience in customer service or support organization and proven ability to interact with a diverse and demanding customer base.
- Experience working independently and as a team member with demonstrated effective problem-solving skills and manage multiple competing priorities while meeting specific programmatic technical and reporting requirements.
- Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with a diverse workforce, vendors, programmatic personnel and managers.
- Knowledge of office computer software, common operating systems, and common word processing, spreadsheet, and databases.
- Ability to acquire and maintain multiple certifications as needed.
- Demonstrated ability/commitment to valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in the workplace.
Qualifications We Desire
- Knowledge of Vault Type Room (VTR) operations and procedures.
- Experience working in a classified environment.
- Experience maintaining TESA and ARGUS databases and/orexperience using Filemaker Pro Databases.
